Howdy.
This economy is a nightmare.
I need some side work, you need some affordable moving help.
Let's talk.
I have roughly two years of prior moving experiences and due to the apocalyptic economy and the fact that I'd like to pursue the pipe dream of maybe owning a house before I'm 97, I'd like to get back into what was honestly a sweet gig on my own terms.
If you'd be willing and able to be flexible with my millennial work schedule (I have a day job that has been giving me a very sporadic schedule lately, yes I am willing to help you in the evening, the good lord made headlamps for a reason), we can discuss what time works best for you.
So what can I do for you? And what's the damage?
Like I said, we live in end times, I offer reasonably affordable flat rates that are clear and straightforward.
The following flat rates are all for up to 5 hours of labor**.
- If you just need a hand form one guy (me), it'll be $300
- Add another person for $550*
- Three's company! $800*
+ Need to add on a truck? I'll bring a 22 foot Penske truck with me/us on any of the above tiers for $250 (I take care of all of the headache with the truck, don't worry)
Just need a couple of people for an hour or two to help move some furniture around the house? We can do $70 an hour.
* Please give me a couple days notice if you need me to bring some extra hands.
I have reliable helping hands, but they like me, have other obligations and need some notice.
Don't worry, I won't bring clowns to your circus.
These are people I've worked with prior and can vouch for their character and work ethic.
I will reiterate; I'm not perfect, nobody is, but I take pride in getting people moved and being a helper.
I'm giddy to get back in the swing of things and wanna get you right.
I can't put my number on here because.
.
.
Craigslist, but shoot me an email letting me know if you're interested and we can discuss from there (don't worry, if we move forward you'll have my number when you need it).
** Additional hours are 70, 140, and 210 respectfully for the above rates.
Truck stays the same unless for some reason it rolls into next day, which will be an additional truck charge, as the wrath of late return fees know no mercy unfortunately.
Please Note: homes with infestations, unsanitary conditions, drug paraphernalia (your special "vase" doesn't count) or otherwise unsafe/gross conditions will be politely refused (don't worry, a little messy or disorganized isn't a big deal).
I won't transport any fuel, or open paint cans on a truck but will help you move them or put them on/in your vehicle at your discretion.
Live plants can be moved at your own acknowledged risk (its usually fine, but you never know with plants).
Unfortunately, I'm not currently equipped to move pianos, I do apologize if this is the case.
If you have any questions at all, please ask! And thank you.
