Assistant Toddler Teacher

Children’s House Montessori School is seeking a passionate early childhood educator to join our team! The candidate must be enthusiastic about learning and implementing the Montessori method.
*Responsibilities:* - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational activities - Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians - Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies - Collaborate with lead teacher and staff to create a positive learning environment *Skills:* - Previous experience in nannying, childcare, or babysitting - Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods - Familiarity with first aid procedures for children - Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment - Ability to provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children - Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with parents, colleagues, and children *Available Hours/Schedule* Monday - Friday 8:15–5:15 (40 Hours Per Week) *Requirements:* · NC Criminal Background Check · Negative TB test · Medical Report/Physical · At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare facility · EDU 119 *What Makes CHMS A Great Place to Work?* At Children’s House we value each employee as an individual.
