Preschool Assistant Teacher

The Burlington School is seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher for the 2023-24 school year, beginning January 3, 2024.
Qualifications: * Minimum of high school diploma * College coursework preferred * At least 6 months of experience working with young children * Basic understanding of Google tools (Gmail, Docs, Slides) Duties and Responsibilities: * Work 4 hours each instructional day, (additional hours in our extended day program available as well) * Assist teacher in carrying out daily routines and lessons * Conduct small group instruction consistent with school instructional standards * Manage student behavior to optimize the learning environment * Maintain a positive learning environment * Work with staff and students within a team environment * Attend required events outside of normal school hours Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.
00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: Our school is mask-optional for students and staff.
All staff members are required to be up-to-date with Covid vaccinations.
