Afterschool Shuttle Bus Driver CDL

The bus driver's responsibilities are to provide positive leadership and guidance to the children and be aware of their safety at all times.
• Job duties would include but not limited to: • Providing safe transportation for children * Provide positive leadership and guidance to the children and be aware of their safety at all times • Assist the staff with the loading and unloading of the children and when not performing duties dealing with the bus • Drivers should help with the children as an Afterschool Teacher/ Group Leader * Being an Afterschool Teacher/Group Leader includes the responsibilities of organizing and implementing structured activities and games for children ages 5-14, keeping the children safe while showing enjoyment, and assisting with daily classroom duties.
* Applicant should have full and thorough knowledge of the bus that they will drive and follow all driving regulations with an emphasis on safety.
• A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL - Class C or B with P endorsement) is REQUIRED • Previous experience with children and CPR & First Aid Certification are desired • Applicants should have an outgoing and fun attitude, show strong leadership skills, be dependable and trustworthy, and have a strong passion for working with children.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:15pm – 5:00pm & Early Release Days & Spring Break (full day).
